| This
case is in contrast to Case #4 where the thin enhancing biopsy cavity
walls were extensively involved with tumor.
As was previously discussed, the literature reports that MR imaging is more specific in detecting residual disease, the further post surgery the patient is. Evaluation for residual tumor has been recommended to be no earlier than 28 days post surgery. |
